Urbanmation was born amid the chaos and uncertainty that was 2020.  I have always been an artist and had a love for drawing and creating.  Some where along the way my drawing and artistic flame slowly burned out.  Everyday life happened and soon artistic expression was only a distant memory.

 As things began to unfold in 2020, I, like many people began to re-evaluate life and really figure out what was important.  Meditating on family, contemplating life and what I really wanted; and the million dollar question that came to mind......what was my legacy going to be?  Focusing on this brought about a shift in mindset and a desire for something more.  A desire so strong and so gripping it could not be ignored.

Having so much time on my hands allowed me to reconnect with my true passion.  I got back to sketching and before long the creative juices started to flow and My Quarantine Dreams started to manifest into Urbanmation.  Soon it became about more than just creating a brand.  Urbanmation evolved into a way to pay homage and recognize our ancestry, culture and remind us that we come from royalty.  Through creative expression we want to be all about positive vibes to uplift and support our multi-faceted culture.  There is something deep and meaningful at the heart of Urbanmation and we're just getting started!
